Changelog
A changelog is a log or record of changes made to a project, such as a website or software project, usually including such records as bug fixes, new features, etc. For Sudden, a changelog is an important piece of our documentation as it is the primary tool in our approach to change management and keeping a project within scope. With multiple stakeholders and many moving pieces that need to be integrated, it’s impossible to keep track of how, where and why changes were made through the course of a project. A changelog is the one document that helps mitigate the dreaded phrase “But I assumed that…” when there is a question late in a project based on a decision made weeks or months before.
