Like slang or jargon, lingo is the language used by people who work in a particular field or who have a common interest. It can be used as a kind of short-hand, to express ideas that are frequently discussed between members of a group. We try to do our best to speak plainly with our clients, but sometimes we find ourselves falling into the bad habit of using lingo, which is one of the reasons we thought a Glossary might be helpful.
